When it comes to perinatal mental health, it is critical to make sure that you have support. Whether you are currently pregnant, recently postpartum, trying to conceive, experiencing pregnancy or infant loss, or grieving after a miscarriage or stillbirth, you are deserving of support in this season of your perinatal journey. As a doula, I know that so many women go through these journeys alone without any support, but it doesn't have to be that way. We can have community and support to help us in our times of need, and no one should have to suffer from perinatal anxiety, depression, grief, or just general stress in silence. There are safe spaces for your concerns to be heard, and peers and professionals who want to help you. I've put together a list of the best perinatal mental health support resources in Oregon so that you don't have to struggle to find your safe space. Whether you need an online or in-person community, I've got you covered! I have trusted support groups, peer support, doula support, OBGYN support, and virtual support services that can help to enrich your mental health in your perinatal journey.
